Senator Eric Schmitt is proud to sponsor the Senator’s Youth Council¸ which offers driven young Missourians a chance to gain unique hands-on experience in government, work on engaging civics projects, and have an opportunity to meet with various elected officials across the state. Throughout the course of the Youth Council program, Councilors will draft mock legislation and/or develop policy projects focusing on contemporary issues, conduct research into the foundations of our representative form of government, and attend local government functions to experience the democratic process first-hand.

You may access the Office Application Manager Plus (OAMPlus) Portal to open your Youth Council Application by visiting the following webpage: https://oampluspublic.senate.gov/public/login/e644070c-6188-4233-9b55-8fd840d78d9b.
Create your account and download the application, which includes a list of all supporting documents you will need to provide to be considered for placement on the Council. Once you have completed your application and compiled all required documents into a single PDF document, submit your application through your OAMPlus account.
Please note that the application deadline is May 7, 2026. No late applications will be accepted.
