WASHINGTON – Following the passage of a standalone Israel aid bill through the U.S. House of Representatives, Senator Eric Schmitt released the following statement:
“Tonight’s House vote is proof that Congress can debate, vote on, and pass individual spending bills. Senate Republicans should follow their lead, stand together with the House, and ensure we are debating and voting on these issues separately — not siding with Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden. I’ve been clear on this from the beginning, now it’s time for the Senate to follow through,” said Senator Eric Schmitt.
