Senator Eric Schmitt Applauds Senate Confirmation of Emil Bove

Bove will serve as a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, issued the following statement celebrating the confirmation of Emil Bove as a federal judge for the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals:

“Emil Bove’s commitment to the law is unimpeachable, and his proven record fighting for the American people will make him an excellent Third Circuit Judge – which is precisely why the left fears him. Bove’s confirmation proves that Democrats’ coordinated smear campaigns no longer have a chokehold on the public narrative and Republicans will not bow to their desperate attempts to derail President Trump’s nominees. I was proud to support his nomination and am glad to see him confirmed by the Senate,” said Senator Schmitt.
