Schmitt Introduces Senate Rescissions Package

WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) released the following statement after introducing President Trump’s recissions package in the Senate.

“Since Day one of the Trump Administration, President Trump has been committed to rooting out the waste, fraud and abuse in government, uncovering billions of dollars of unnecessary spending. I am honored to lead the effort in the Senate to take the budget approved under Joe Biden and better align it with President Trump’s agenda,” said Senator Eric Schmitt.
