Senator Schmitt Exposes Democrat Hypocrisy:
“It’s crazy. The hypocrisy knows no bounds, and we’re discovering in real time that Trump Derangement Syndrome isn’t just the domestic policy of the Democrats, but it’s also their foreign policy, evidently. And I’m convinced, Harris, at this point that if President Trump cured cancer, the Democrats would take the side of cancer. It’s totally insane, but here we go again. President Trump has made the realist case, actually, of defending our Western Hemisphere from a narcoterrorist who was trafficking drugs, [who] emptied their prisons and sent those illegal immigrants into the United States, and was also playing host to the CCP [Chinese Communist Party] and other malign actors in his country who are a direct threat to the United States of America. This was a very successful operation by our military. Nobody else in the world, Harris, could do this. This was five hours on the ground. Nobody else could coordinate this. Nobody else could do it. Nobody has the capability. It also, interestingly, exposed some of the weaknesses in the Chinese and Russian equipment that was on the ground there. That’s sort of a side story we can talk about some other time. But all of this is good news for the American people. People are safer with Maduro out. This was a very exquisite and specific limited action, and the people of Venezuela will ultimately benefit, along with, most importantly, the American people and our interest in the Western Hemisphere.”

“Well, look, I agree with Secretary Rubio, there’s a big difference between tough talk and actually taking action — and by the way, doing it in a very thoughtful and specific and strategic way, which is exactly what happened here. And I think it’s interesting in a broader context, Harris, is that in our history books — hopefully this is still being taught — something called the Monroe Doctrine. We have a very keen interest in what happens in our own hemisphere. This is our hemisphere. This is our hemisphere, and we need to protect the American people so we cannot allow some tin-pot dictator in Venezuela or anywhere else to funnel drugs, killing and poisoning Americans, sending their worst of the worst to murder Americans, and again, playing host to some of the worst actors, our adversaries around the world. So, President Trump, when he says he’s going to do something, he does it. And I think the world is watching, they should understand that [President Trump] isn’t playing games. This is the Trump-corollary to the Monroe Doctrine. When he says he’s going to do something, he’s going to do it. He gave Maduro plenty of off ramps, but this guy wanted to be the tough guy. He wanted to talk tough, and, you know, [say] ‘come take [me]’. Well, that’s exactly what happened. And so, the American people, I think, should be very proud that we have a president that means what he says and follows through on things. He doesn’t just post rewards for other people to do things or have some value statement about something. He actually goes and does it. The American people in our hemisphere are safer because of it.”
Senator Schmitt on Rampant Fraud in Minnesota, Previews Legislation to Denaturalize Fraudsters:
“It’s a pretty stunning development, and in fact, I’ll be introducing some legislation to make it easier to denaturalize individuals who’ve committed this kind of fraud in our country. We need to go after this fraud. We need to have more tools to make sure this kind of fraud doesn’t happen. But it’s a really stunning development. I think it also tells you, Harris, that this is just the tip of the iceberg. This is the Somali-based fraud that had to do with these daycare centers. There’s also a bunch of money that went out the door at the end of the Biden administration that had nothing to do with COVID, but it was under the auspices of these COVID funds. I think you’re going to see another wave of fraud. So, I think that’s probably at the heart of Tim Walz’s demise here is catching headline news. But you know, the other fraud that was perpetrated [was] when he was picked as the runner running mate [to Kamala Harris]. He was supposed to be, you know, Governor ‘Jazz Hands’ who would come out on stage. He wasn’t appealing to young men. I mean, this was the best they had to offer to deal with the fact that their party had completely tacked to the left over the last decade. And so, Tim Walz is kind of the poster child, I think, for not only how out of touch the Democrats are, but how corrupt they are when they actually govern.”
