Schmitt to Lead Senate Rescissions Package

WASHINGTON —Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) released the following statement after announcing he will lead President Trump’s rescissions package in the Senate.

“I look forward to leading President Trump’s rescissions package in the Senate. Over the last few months, the Trump Administration has uncovered billions of dollars of unnecessary spending. This legislation provides Congress an important opportunity to work with the White House to advance President Trump’s agenda,” said Senator Eric Schmitt.
