Senator Schmitt Slams Biden’s Head of “Ministry of Truth” at Judiciary Hearing for Trampling Americans’ Constitutional Rights

WASHINGTON – Senator Schmitt today took former Deputy Homeland Security Advisor and Co-Chair of former-President Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board Jennifer Daskal to task over the role she played in infringing upon Americans’ right to free speech.

“I find it kind of rich that you’re here expressing First Amendment concerns about anything. A federal district court judge said this was the biggest affront to the First Amendment in the history of the United States of America, this censorship enterprise that the Biden Administration engaged in that you were a big part of,” said Senator Eric Schmitt.

Background:

As Missouri Attorney General, Schmitt filed Missouri v. Biden, the eventual Supreme Court case that blew the lid off of Biden’s censorship industrial complex. Beyond suing the Disinformation Governance Board, Schmitt led the public pressure campaign that caused the “Orwellian” board to shut its doors just three weeks after launch. He has continued this fight in his time in the Senate.
